Regular exercise is vital to keep us healthy and lower the risk of age related diseases, obesity, diabetes and depression. If you find motivation hard, group training could be the answer.

Our small friendly group offers the attention you need for impressive results without the PT price tag. All levels are catered for, so don't worry if you're new or returning to exercise. Emphasis is more on variety than military, making sure you always have fun and never get bored.

What else can you enjoy?

Motivation

Sometimes it’s just easier to stay indoors on your comfy couch and binge watch Netflix, right? But what if a group of people are expecting you to turn up? You know everyone well and will have a laugh to help each other enjoy yet another awesome workout together. You’ll benefit from having other group members noticing your progress and offering that extra bit of encouragement just when you need it most. You’re more likely to persevere when training with others than on your own and when you notice how much effort everyone puts in you’ll step up to do the same.

Structure

Simply turn up, switch off from the day, concentrate on yourself and relax. Weeell, maybe not relax, but sink into the session safe in the knowledge that all the planning has been done for you and you don’t have to think about a thing. You’ll be provided safe, effective exercise with minimal injury risk and maximum results.

Variety

It’s so easy to get stuck in a rut with your training doing the same old, same old, which can be boring and stops you achieving the results you want. Not with our group training sessions! Variety is the spice of life and it keeps your body guessing so it doesn’t get used to repeated, ineffectual movements. As well as dozens of body weight exercises, we have all manner of weird and wonderful equipment to keep you on your toes - literally. From medicine ball to Swiss ball, kettlebells to dumbbells, resistance bands to boxing gear, you’ll be constantly learning new and fun ways to keep yourself fit.

Technique

Being active has so many benefits but if you’re going to do it, do it well. You’ll be set the perfect example in posture, how to make sure your back and neck are supported, making sure there is low impact on your joints, how to achieve a balanced body and lower your risk of injury. This will be corrected and reinforced in each session to help you carry it through to other areas of your life.

Levels

Each activity will be offered with easier and more challenging alternatives so all fitness levels are catered for. The sessions are suitable for complete beginners who have never exercised before to seasoned fitness members who require more challenge.

Challenge

We’re human and however much we think we’re working hard the chances are our body is telling us to take the easy option and we sometimes can’t help but listen to it. It’s just so much nicer to go for a long, slow, easy jog than push ourselves hard in interval training, right? This may be true, but it will burn very little fat, won’t increase your fitness and your body will learn to preserve its fat stores if you keep doing it. Eek! In the small group training sessions you’ll be encouraged to work harder, accessing the right energy systems and engaging your fast twitch muscles to increase fat ‘after burn’. That’s right, doing it correctly means you’ll be burning fat many hours (up to 24) after you’ve finished each of our sessions. You can relax afterwards as much as you like, you will have earned it.

Support & advice

Not only from your trainer but also peers within your group as you discuss the progress and personal challenges you face with one another. Members of the group all benefit from helping and advising each other and you’ll learn from experience as you discover what others have done to achieve similar goals to yours.

Fun!

You’re much more likely to keep coming back if you’re enjoying yourself. Yes, it’s hard work, it’s supposed to be, but this won’t be your typical military, shouty showdown where you’re bullied into exhaustion. If that floats your boat, great, but you won't find it here. Instead we’ll focus on positive reinforcement and a warm, supportive environment whilst offering a challenging workout to achieve guaranteed results. You will feel amazing at the end of each session.
